Who Am I?

My name is Gloria Cannon Dickinson. I am the oldest daughter of Dolores Cannon. I have been a Master Woodworker, and Crafter for most of my life.

My History?

Growing up since my father ,Johnny Cannon, was in the navy I was ultimately a navy brat. I was granted the unique opportunity to experience some parts of the world before my world wind travels as a navy brat concluded in the rural area of Beeville, Texas where I met my future husband and father of my children who was my best friend and partner in every venture. This led to adventures of every flavor of life and experiences that have colored and shape the magic I imbue into every craft to be reminders of that amazing and powerful love that I spent most of my life exploring the worlds.

Why I Craft?

Everyone wants to leave their handprint on the world around them, I believe that using my joys, my memories, my understanding of the world around me to bring magic to things I make allows me to leave parts of me and my loved ones to enrich other peoples lives and to bring them their own joys and happiness. To create laughter and smiles to their worlds like so much has been brought to mine.

Why I believe Hand Crafted goods are so important?

Things were made by hand in ages long gone, when magic ran free and wild among every person. I believe that keeping some things crafted by hand helps keep that magic running around and improving our lives no matter what we go through.

I appreciate you taking the time to learn more about me as the crafter of goods you are considering.
